It's almost hard to comprehend how it's even possible to taste the fruit through this, but the fruit has a neon-bright fresh cranberry or raspberry character, almost gamay-like in some respects, that seems to charge through on sheer energy. Also helps to have had a creamy coq au vin sauce with this, which steamrolls through the structure nicely. It is, however, entirely too scaffolded to say much of anything else about it at this point. This will probably need a minimum of 25 years.

  July 8, 2018 - First time tasting this producer. This was extremely ripe and dark like Cabernet. Very difficult to enjoy and may not have guessed Pinot if served blind. Good riddance!

  Bref j'ai beaucoup aimé, et j'ai hâte de gouter le 2007 récupéré ce jour-là pour me faire une idée plus précise du potentiel de ce premier cru!
