  November 18, 2019 - Spectacular. At first the nose has quite a bit of sauvage and dirtiness, which quickly blew off to reveal fresh and pure red cherries and beautiful floral aromas. Big ‘90 ripeness but with spice and floral nuance. Elegant but not necessarily delicate. The palate was also super clean and pure and had nice acid to support everything. Definitely an ethereal wine but with a wallop of ‘90 power. Huge Engel fan and fairly biased, but think this is just brilliant. Gives me great hope for my ‘90 GE.

  October 23, 2003 - 3 Pinot Noir, 2 Burgundy (Danville, Ca.): Nice, rich old nose of leather and tobacco, very rich taste, very smooth, nice, long finish. My #3 of 3.
