November 16, 2023 - Walk around tasting. Very expressive nose of dark berries, tomato leaf, pencil lead, dried herbs. Very cab franc on the palate cassis, black cherry, black olive and a little bell pepper. Surprisingly resolved tannins and lower acidity feel than I expected. Exotic and magnificent.
Score: 93. Relative to expectations: ++ -

April 29, 2023 - Extremely interesting and intellectual wine. Bell pepper in the attack, very elegant, with a great bright acidity. Never quite came together with a slightly missing mid palate , and suffered by comparison to the 2014 what was the richer and more complete wine, but a joy to drink as well. At a perfect point in its evolution, with a fruit, acid, minerals, and the beginnings of some secondary aromas.
