September 3, 2022 - The usual light consuming “Loring purple” waits in the glass showing a cranberry rim with the occasional swirl. Nose with cloves, cola, cranberry, black cherries, and vanilla. A bit tart on the finish with orange zest and cranberry. The tannins are still angular. This wine can go the distance. Some heavy sediment in the final pour. 14.3% alc. With grilled tuna and succotash. 09.03.22. Recommended.

March 31, 2021 - Actually one of the better Lorings I've had in awhile but: 1) I generally drink them younger and 2) I'm partial to Pepe. Big cranberry, with persistence but richer/fuller than some other experiences. Delicious. 91-92?
