May 15, 2023 - 100% Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero. 24-months in French oak and bottled-aged thereafter. 14.5% alcohol. Decanted one hour. Deep garnet colour. Pronounced nose of black berries, liquorice, spice and vanilla. Very supple and silky tannins compared to the more powerful Pesquera Millenium. Surprisingly fresh with a good finish.

April 22, 2023 - A private dinner with friends (Polsbroek, NL): Tasted blind. Fresh and youthful for its age, finely grained tannins, bright and sweet fruit, hint of vanilla, new world in style (I guessed it was from South Africa), very good length.

November 12, 2022 - A monster tasting at Laszlo's: VA, nail polish, coconut and cola on the nose. Palate also has a cola profile with the oak wrapping over the fruit. The description makes it sound less appealing than I found it, there was something interesting about it.

May 12, 2022 - This is dense, thick, with plenty of soft tannins, and high alcohol. Yet somehow it retains enough freshness to still be quality food wine.

Perhaps now it’s in its best dinking period.

    15%, cork.
