December 19, 2022 - Xmas & New Year in Japan; 12/19/2022-1/6/2023 (Japan): Dark plum, smoke, tobacco, dark cherry, coffee, sweer spice on the nose. Lovely, elegant fruit on the palate. Hit of popping berries on the attack but anything but overripe or cloying. Medium acidity more than sufficient to keep it fresh. Red rather than dark fruit on the finish. Velvety tannin. Excellent.

October 4, 2021 - After an hour, gorgeous plush long and deep. Serve 16 degrees ish else could get a bit flabby. As we all do.

July 26, 2021 - Last bottle of the 2013, was expecting more at the price but still a nice wine.

May 16, 2018 - Retailer tasting. The wine showed ripe red and dark fruit, some chocolate, mild spice, some coffee and some vanilla on the nose and palate, with fresh acidity, smooth tannin and superb length. Medium-bodied, smooth and very balanced - liquid happiness! Technically, the wine would benefit from more concentration from the middle through the end, but hey, this is all about drinking pleasure.

February 15, 2018 - Fantastic flowery aromas with blackberry and cherry. On the palate more black and red fruits with dark cherry, velvety smooth chocolate. Fantastic tannins and amazing acidity for a Malbec. Enjoyed this from start to finish. Great length. 100% Malbec taken from Adrianna and Nicasia vineyards. 24 months new French oak ageing.
