October 11, 2016 - Nice mature Brunello. Not overly complex but a nice smokey nose with vibrant fruit and acidity. Tannins are a bit dry but enjoyable wine nonetheless

September 24, 2016 - Still drinking very well for a 23 year old wine. Dusty brick color had me nervous but everything is still there. Earthy smokey with dried cherry and firm tannins. Quite a bit of sediment so if you still have one of these stand up for a few days and decant carefully.

March 7, 2012 - From magnum. Graphite and tar, with some bacon and earth on the nose. The palate still has huge tannins, it is extremely youthful and powerful. Needs more time!
