September 21, 2019 - Röd, körsbär, smakrik, bra syra, medel tannin

  • Obnoxious Proxy Does not like this wine: 78 points

May 5, 2019 - Colour: Medium red coloured.
Bouquet: Prominent smells of red fruit and cherry
Taste: Full bodied, dry, earthy and oaky, fairly acidic, only very slight hints of red fruit.
    Texture: Grippy tannins, short finish.

Quite average for the price, but chianti characterisitics clear.

  • ManhattanBeach Likes this wine:

November 1, 2018 - At the Lewa ball at the Dorchester, London. Dense, lush and glossy. Only a hint of sweetness on the nose, leathery and earthy depth. Good body, some spice. Went pretty well with the duck.

  • PMJak11 Likes this wine: 91 points

September 14, 2018 - Solid Chianti! Medium purple color. Nose filled with earth, tannins, and spice. Wine is expressive with cherry and tobacco flavors. Finish is more reserved and milder than expected. Nice QPR!

June 18, 2018 - 90% Sangiovese and 10% Colorino / Canaiolo / Malvasia Nera. Medium-high intensity nose is savoury with earthy and forest floor aromas with hints of blackberry and black plum. It is medium-full bodied with lovely aroma replays plus clove oak spice flavours on the palate. It is very good acidity, while the fine tannins are smooth. Excellent finish length.
