March 13, 2022 - This is 2015 vintage, Cantine Pra Morandina Amarone.
This wine is a surprise and delight in the Amarone tasting today. Medium garnet In colour. On the nose, it has some lovely black pepper, cloves, savoury and meaty characters, wrapped with perfumed violet and red roses, dark cherry and chocolate notes.
The acidity is high, structural but fine tannins. It has medium plus to pronounced flavour intensity, with well defined dark cherry and red plum. The savoury and herbal notes are surely the highlight. The finish is medium plus and lingering with some chocolate at the end.
At such young age, the wine is drinking pretty well already! Delicious!

December 26, 2021 - Slow ox for 3 hours. Red ruby color. Cherries, plums, and dark chocolate on the nose and palate. Medium finish. This wine has years left.

May 27, 2020 - Decent, but we’ve had better Amarone’s for this price. A little over the top pruney detracted from the wine.

January 5, 2019 - Romance in a glass. Raisiny nose with undertones of black cherry, plum sauce, balsamico and dark chocolate. Full-on creaminess with the best level of acidity you can get in a 16.5% abv wine. Because of its concrete character, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone.
