June 2, 2019 - Pale shimmery gold. Smells like a boozy apple. Also white flowers, creamy lemon. Almost medium in body. Nice purity of fruit on this. Quite rich but within balance. Enjoyable.

April 24, 2019 - Medium straw color. Nose is quite subtle when first opened - flinty with a hint of sharpness. After 20 minutes, opens up to pear, vanilla and brown butter. Not as much funk as expected - but in the mouth, very pleasing. Pleasantly oily, dry but with some depth, oak present but not overwhelming. Nice salinity. Some tannins present, but enough acid to be refreshing. Medium-long finish with just a touch of bitterness and heat at the end. Nice, and good value!
