  January 29, 2023 - DNP Minor sediment.
  Medium red. Good colour.
  Fine, spicy , red fruited - ripe red cherry.
  Fine, med-light weight Volnay flavours and structure. Again, red cherry.
  Lovely balance and weight. A good Villages. Shows Ben Leroux’s mastery.
  Showing better than the other recent half bottle. Drinking very well.

  January 6, 2023 - Half bottle. Slight sediment.
  Good colour for Pinot.
  Lovely red fruits with a briary overlay.
  Lovely ripe red fruits, held by good acid. Tannins are fine and restrained. Good intensity for a Villages. Burghound says it has PC fruit in it. That fits.
  A lovely drink. The half is drinking well now. I would leave the bottle at least 3 more years.

  February 4, 2021 - 开瓶是比较浓郁甜美的红果，成熟的红樱桃、覆盆子、蔓越莓等等，带点红枣，嗅觉上饱满圆润。虽然有点皮毛、菌菇、甘草、药草以及一点香料，整体还比较干净。入口整体比较轻，酸度高企，一直持续到后段，随后还持留在舌面和后口腔，丹宁细腻光滑，果味层层叠叠，樱桃、黑莓、覆盆子、蔓越莓等，有红有黑，中后段有点陈皮粉、山楂粉和甘草等味道，像以前吃的百草丹，收尾比较长。89-90/100

  July 29, 2019 - 香气并不复杂，以草莓、樱桃等红色水果的清新果香为主，佐以甘草、丁香，以及醒酒后补充进的少许泥土气息。入口集中度出色，单宁细腻，虽然现在喝起来融合度还有欠缺，但浓郁的果香和圆润的口感依然比较愉悦。89-90

  June 13, 2019 - Initially, the wine offers delicious bright pinot-perfumes with fresh raspberries and strawberries, but as it breathes it moves towards darker and more spicy territory. I do pick up a hint of wood here, but it is very well integrated. On the palate, the wine is sleek and silky, but still with good concentration. Bright fruit, bright acidity and polished tannins come very well together in a juciy and lingering finish. Lovely juice.
