December 1, 2023 - This wine is pretty good, but kinda boring. With an hour of air it started to become more expressive and interesting, but never became exciting. I think it's pretty young still and could definitely improve from here, assuming it doesn't oxidize!

Youthful, full, oaky nose. Toast and perfume. Yellow orchard fruit and hints of tropical fruit. Spicy licorice.
Fullish, rich and powerful palate. Round and fat. Harmonius. Gently oaky. Good grip. Clean and polished with good intensity. Long.
When revealed the Batard typicity was clear. Can gain more complexity with bottle aging (if you dare the dreaded Premox...) -

January 9, 2017 - Tasted after their 1er Cru Maltroie. Richer, denser with more intensity and a lot more depth. Fresh on the palate, very powerful and long. Excellent. 93-94+
