November 21, 2021 - Wonderful. On the nose vanilla and wooden casks... deep deep red... fantastic legs... on taste a wonderful smokey oak taste with blackcurrant fruit in the background.

July 24, 2021 - Our first amarone, gift of Brian brought back from Italy, and we really enjoyed. We chilled it for 15 mins and allowed 30 mins for bottle air. High ABV no doubt but lots of fruit, esp. dried cherry, kirsch, and cherry liqueur. The wine paired well with grilled steak and mushroom pasta. Will buy more!

December 1, 2019 - Sampler quarterly. Similar notes as previously. Seemingly more balanced, with it being tighter and tarter. 91-92.

June 12, 2019 - Deep ruby. After some time to breathe: Intense nose of rich fruit, dry coconut. Same on the palate. Rather full. Good balance despite the high stated ABV. Long finish. I enjoyed this.
