June 23, 2013 - I was really wowed by this. Great nose- could have been a super second St. Julien. Near peak, it smells a little reduced at first but this blows off with a little swirling so I'm not sure I'd decant. Also, comes across as more cab- cab franc than merlot.

January 24, 2009 - Decanted 2 hours before drinking. Dark, clear red, slight ageing at rim. Pear drops with aniseed/licorice (?) on nose. Slight black fruit, quite tannic, long in mouth.
