August 26, 2023 - Enjoyable but would benefit from further aging . I agree entirely with Charlie Carne’s note below .

March 12, 2021 - Approachable but with the ability to age. Sorry, nothing more. At dinner with friends and family.

December 27, 2020 - What a 'go to' Burg that will be a huge crowd pleasure albeit, it is more of a modern profile of Burgundy than the old world style I am partial to drinking. Regardless, a great Burg at this price point. Full of fruit, yet not overpowering, nice balance and structure, silky smooth mouth feel. Just a great all around Burg that everyone will love.

November 15, 2019 - Anybody naysaying the grandeur of the 2015 vintage is gonna have to step outside this bar and fight me, we got a problem. This is probably the best Clair Dominode I've ever had (and hey, these old vines are now older than they've ever been!). The color is halfway between red and rose, more of a pale rouge, yet it's absolutely packed with material in a way that comes across layered and robust while being essentially lightweight. First comes a puff of perfumed fruit mixing rose petals and a spirity essence of pale cherries, then it solidifies and a robust, stony minerality takes over. From ethereal on the entry to chiseled on the back end, there's not even a molecule of baby fat but it still has a youthful freshness and gloss.
