April 11, 2021 - Mild brick on pouring. 2 hour decanter- cloudy, dark blueberry color. Well balanced tannins and alcohol. Short finish. Very nice with grilled veg and A5 wagyu.

August 11, 2020 - Still concur with notes from a year ago

October 1, 2019 - This wine has performed well over the years. It is now approaching the downward slope after attaining its peak. Probably has a year or so left to it but i would not recommend chancing it. Best to drink up now.

December 31, 2015 - Brownish red color (more red than brown, but showing age). The wine opens out of the bottle with a bit of a funk, but after a 2 hour decant this wore off. Strong floral notes, cherry, forest, mushroom: Earthy, with silky tannins showing, woody, dry berries, refined but rustic at the same time. Terrific finish. I would say this is peaking but drinking well and a few good years window to drink.

November 30, 2013 - Dark cherry, leather and earth. Very good and drinking beautifully.
