January 3, 2017 - This was favored side by side with an '86 Ponzi. This continued to evolve over a couple of hours. It still has some nice red fruit and enough acid, but had an interesting funk to it that kept us coming back. Over the hill but fun and interesting none the less.

October 13, 2014 - Color: light dusty-rose to brick
Nose: light intensity; elegant; leather; tobacco; dried fruit
Body/flavor: light-medium body; delicious old pinot... paired beautifully with roast chicken and root vegetables
Aftertaste: lingering

June 27, 1989 - Tasting of 5 Pinot Noirs.
Very fruity, intense pinot nose, intense in the mouth, bacon taste, fruity finish, strong fruity aftertaste.
