April 11, 2024 - Half bottle - good clear amber color and fine cork. Some felt could be slightly corked, but others like myself did not pick up on it. Full of classic apricot, peaches, and orange blossom in a silky smooth medium concentrated style. Enjoyable and good, yet a bit soft and less intense then the very best vintages.

May 12, 2021 - Finished off our wonderful Xtremo dinner last nite at CKH with this and a 2001 Sauternes, both blind. Lovely aromatics, medium body. The color was nowhere near as dark as I would have expected. Also, the 01 was far sweeter than this; indeed, I wouldn't call this Yquem dry but possibly off-dry. There's apricot fruit and honeysuckle, as well as some marmalade here, but not nearly as sweet as one would expect. Solid acidity, great length, apricot, beeswax and petrol aromas on the nose. Not your usual Yquem but still quite enjoyable.

April 9, 2021 - Half bottle: Deep golden color, medium body but exquisitely balanced, thick. The sweet nose is dominated by apricot, peach, honey, orange marmalade and some pineapple notes. Not as complex as other years. More elegant than massive. No signs of decline.

April 25, 2019 - Ma première expérience avec un d'Yquem. D'un millésime plus qu'ordinaire, on sent tout de même la qualité derrière ce vin mythique. Zeste d'orange confit, cire, miel, pneu brûlé, le vin présente une longueur incroyable. Belle expérience !
