June 13, 2022 - I could not enjoy this. Tastes like vin jaune, but it is not vin jaune! Oxidized and weird. I like vin jaune, but not this. I cooked with it!

September 17, 2021 - Was in an excellent place, truly. The fill seemed marginally lower that I would have liked, but any hesitation dispersed the moment it hit my glass. The oxidation had mellowed out drastically, the power still gripped you, but it lead into a very hazelnut/walnut/butterscotch blanket, that really lingered. Gorgeous weight. Montbourgeau rarely misses, and this was a brilliant bottle.

June 7, 2021 - Consistent with the last bottle from a month ago. Great stuff, outstanding QPR.

May 15, 2021 - Toasty rich and powerful on the nose. Light on its feet on the palate. Crisp, clean.

May 3, 2021 - Tasted blind. Oxidative notes, almonds, cheese, and lemon are some of the flavors on the nose. Super interesting and complex. Nice acidity with lemon, more nutty notes, and a nice, long finish. This tasted like a high quality vin jaune and reading now that it's Chardonnay aged for 4 years sous voile, it kinda makes sense. Excellent wine.
