March 24, 2024 - Three hour decant. Ruby, fading at the edges. Nose of red fruit, cigar box and earth. Palate of dried red cherries, tobacco and dusty earth. Medium bodied lacking density mid-palate that filled in with subsequent glasses. Grippy tannins and a long finish. Paired reasonably well with meat sauce spaghetti. Will hold remaining bottle a few years.

November 9, 2023 - This wine is still incredibly tannic. It softened up with time and was better with food but it still needs time. I have 2 more bottles and I'm going to cellar another 5 years.
