December 3, 2023 - Decanted 60 minutes. A bit of a acidic finish at first. Opened up and drank well, although not as well as other bottles on the same vintage. Cork had seeped a bit and the top was stained.

May 7, 2023 - Vinetasters: Mt. Veeder (Park Ridge, IL): Served double blind. Raisinated. Comes across almost Amarone-like in that sense, with some chocolate notes and coarse tannins. Lacks a midpalate. My 9th, group's 11th.

March 9, 2023 - Found this tucked away with my 2015s. Aerated. Candied cherry in nose. Taste was hot. Put aside for one hour and was rewarded for my wisdom with a good, heat-blown-off, non-fussy Cab. Did I have with food? No. Should I have? YES! Wisdom had left the building.
