  May 12, 2024 - 2 hour decant in glass. Deep, inky purple with dark pink edge in color. Nose of blackberries, vanilla, saddle leather and luxardo cherries. On the palate: blackberries, subtle baking spices, luxardo cherries, espresso and dark earth. Grainy tannins are perceived on cheeks and gums. Long, dry finish of blackberries, amaro bitters and earth.

  April 28, 2024 - Spectacular Super Tuscan Red! Blend of Cabernet Franc (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Petite Verdot (10%). Dark ruby color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of dark berry fruit, red and purple flowers, fresh and dried herbs and a nice earthy component. The lush palate includes flavors of black cherry/currant/raspberry along with savory herbs and dark chocolate. Beautiful mineral note on the extremely long finish. Quite intense, powerful and grippy but also very smooth and silky at the same time. Wonderfully complex. Outstanding!
