September 5, 2006 - Good, strong colour. Little bit of VA initially. Hints of vanilla, red cherry and violets. On the palate oddles of sweet/savoury blackberry. Slightly (ie not unpleasantly) jammy. Nice balance. Surprisingly complex with a good long structure. Finishes warm, not hot. Rating: Very, Very Good. QPR: Brilliant (as a cleanskin at auction).
