March 31, 2019 - More substance than most NZ Pinot Noir, somewhat less fruit driven and more burgundian in style. A good, complex wine, which will age a few years yet I am sure. Dark colour for a PN, spice and fruit on the nose, earthy in a pleasant way on the palate, tannins present but not obtrusive.
