April 13, 2024 - Nose: durian, cheese, pineapple, plastic, mango, pineapple
Notes: with a nose full of tropical fruits, this Roulot is on the relatively lean and steely side in terms of palate. Not too impressive but it does feel quite young and seems to have a long road ahead of it. Was never a fan of Roulot as I feel their wines are good but always a little half baked because it's not the most fruity style nor the most round style or the steely style thus a bit of everything is like trying to please all palates which is am impossible job. This may not be a fair conclusion but it does seem like the situation to me.

January 15, 2024 - A little bit boring out of the bottle. Medium acidity, fruit is somewhat muted. Lovely balance and elegance, perhaps just slightly shut down at this stage?

November 21, 2023 - A good bottle. Had bad luck / overblown / overripe example of 2015 last year but this was much fresher and cleaner. Bright green and yellow citrus. Still get these sense these don't have much life ahead. 92+

May 30, 2023 - There is a gently exotic quality to this wine, think rockmelon and mango. The palate is buttery rich and layered. The finish has some candied peel and whilst acidity feel low, the wine is bright and energetic.
