March 1, 2024 - Bought many years ago when my tastes were different. Glad I let this age. Turned out quite nicely - toned down a lot with age. Still alive and kicking, and a nice pairing with a thick cut striploin steak! Had this up against its sibling - the '02 Turley Hayne Petite...they were both nice, but the Zin was just a bit better.

July 16, 2022 - Stored at 55 degrees since release. Mislabeled this as the 02 Hayne Petite. Still drinkable but my earlier bottles were much better. If you have any left I would drink them. 87 points

April 3, 2021 - Hazy deep garnet. Med + thin legs.
Clean, med + cooked raisin, fig, licorice, fennel. Nutmeg, coffee, resin. Game, tobacco, meat. Fully developed.
Palate: dry, high alcohol, med tannin, med acid, med body. Pronounced cooked strawberry, fig, licorice, black pepper. Nutmeg, butterscotch. Mushroom, meaty, savory. Long finish.
    Outstanding. Drink now

    December 4, 2019 - Drank really nice

July 26, 2019 - Sun dried tomato, soft, tootsie roll, medium bodied, a bit lackluster compared to the 2002 Ueberoth. Fresh red cherry, jam, dusty, spicy spicy, vibrant, but quite hot. Fun wine, great shape. Renee and Jay's Turvical.
