December 10, 2022 - Having vastly overpaid for the first two bottles, found third bottle for the avg going price so pounced for opportunity to see how horribly I did. Good acidity (maybe too much), which it had a little more fruit but was fresh and think it will certainly develop further. Hold for another 5 years.

February 17, 2022 - Coming back to this after a few years. Opened and decanted. Color is dark ruby. On the nose: Cassis, plum , iron and lots of pepper. On the palate: Cassis, plum , cherry, pepper, dry tannins and iron. This is young but getting there. I am upping my score quite a bit from 2 years ago. This is quite good and only 13% alcohol.
