November 30, 2006 - Again, inconsistant. These bottles were from a solid case. I'm wondering if some of them got cooked.

November 10, 2006 - Out of this case I'd say the bottles ranged from 83-87. Seems very inconsistant.

January 21, 2006 - Very dark opaque purple color. Very nice nose with blackberries, raspberries, flowers, with a hint of pepper and a faint earthy element. Medium body with decent acidity and soft tannins. Not as big on the palate as it is on the nose. Some mixed berries and spices, but not very concentrated. This is not as flavorful as past bottles. Earlier bottles were a little rough on the finish, but this one isn't. With some time and air, the wine added a little weight and the back-end filled out nicely. A licorice note developed. The wine was much better with the extra time.

October 16, 2005 - Pleasant, inoffensive monastrell. Varietal flavors are quite muted, but soft tannins provide some interest.

September 16, 2005 - For 8 bucks it had good fruit flavor and a snap on the finish that was hard to place, but was quite pleasant. I will buy again.
