November 24, 2023 - I am in love with this one. Black fruits, nice freshness and elengant finish. This is one of my favourite producers and labels. Was the wine of one of the first dates with my wife and has been at our table during many nice moments. This bottle stood up to our expectation and is pure pleasure to sip

October 23, 2022 - Körperreich mit strammiger Würze. Kein Fruchtpunch. Unbedingt ein paar Stunden vorher dekantieren, anfangs ist er ansonsten zu verschlossen und zeigt sich von der zickigen Seite. Wurde aber zum Ende hin immer harmonischer.

December 12, 2021 - Whatever is really in the bottle, I don't trust the producers' claims. Much too good for Nero. A bouquet that is more reminiscent of a supertuscan than a Sicilian. Mille e una Notte 2012 has an enveloping bouquet of fruits like mulberry and blackberry and it has balsamic and spicy flashes. It is soft and intense with a long finish.

March 2, 2019 - This is without doubt the nicest wine I have tasted in a long time. Full bodied and full of fruit. Will it improve with age? I don’t know. Delicious, an absolute cracker of a wine.

October 21, 2018 - Tight, dark purple color. Aromas of blueberries, plums and some spices. Full bodied, chewy, forward and intense, with loads of dry matters. Good acidity.
