Community Tasting Notes 5

  • Dorbiran Likes this wine: 90 points

June 25, 2019 - Med body, red fruit, great nose, can wait a bit more...

June 23, 2018 - Good deep color. Violets and cassis, pine, raspberry and smoke. Underlying dampness which evolved into clear corkiness within a few hours.

  • The years of the grape Likes this wine: 90 points

December 5, 2017 - Readier than the first wine from the same vintage, but probably this is what second wines are for.
Black fruit, some toast and spice, hints of tertiary aromas (earth), although the wine has still years of development ahead. Good structure, medium acidity, fine grained tannins. Not too heavy.

July 3, 2017 - Consistent, not best too hot vintage. Medium to full body, deep garnet color. Black fruits, cedar wood and floral aroma. Black cherry, plum and blueberry notes palate, long herbal finish. Rich and hot, complex, slightly dis-balanced, gentle acidity and tannins. Best match is meat or pasta. Open at least one hour in advance. Serve 18º - 22º. Drink now.

April 19, 2017 - Medium to full body, deep garnet color. Intense black fruits, cedar wood and floral aroma. Black cherry and plum palate, long herbal finish. Rich, powerful and bold, complex, slightly dis-balanced, gentle acidity and tannins. Best match to meat. Open at least one hour in advance. Serve 18º - 22º. It isn’t for long term use, drink now and next couple years.
