November 27, 2017 - Very dark color; forceful, berry-dominated nose. Not overly fruity, but has nice structure and shows definite varietal character. Tannins are a bit rough, and it displays a little heat on the finish, but still shows better than most wines in its modest price range. Quite enjoyable.
