September 28, 2021 - Light style, crushed strawberries & tart cherry. Cilantro on the pork stew over powered it a bit. Continued to evolve over the next hour+ but short finish is disappointing.

July 13, 2020 - Garnet with bricking edges. Moderately aromatic with strong cherry liqueur, a floral / herbal thing, maybe tea leaf, and a dusty dirt. Strongly tannic, and a very rustic style with some nice red apple and cherry, along with spices and leather. The tannins feel almost out of balance, but in the short finish it somehow comes together. Not all that complex, but a very honest nebbiolo. The tannins are there to keep it for some years, no doubt, but I don't see this getting better either. The fruit just isn't there. Did not improve with air. 500ml bottle.
