    January 20, 2023 - alcohol is actually 15.5%
not a fan of big alcohol CdP wines

August 10, 2022 - Second time I've rated this wine a 90. It's currently in an awkward phase, transitioning to fuller secondary fungal flavors. Often quality CdP needs 10 years to complete that journey, and I'd estimate that this one falls in that camp. If you have the ability to keep yours another 3+ years, I'd encourage that on the bet it'll be better on the other side of maturity.

April 28, 2022 - a bit flabby due to (I think) is 15% alcohol. I'm not enthused with Rhone wines pretending to be California hot and sunny wines.

January 30, 2022 - Pop and pour. Big and jammy, but much more accessible than my last btl. This is what were in the mood for last night. On the nose: ripe cherry liqueur, soft dark herbs. On the palate: huge fruit, liqueur-soaked cherries and blackberry, some medicinal herbs, good acidity, and surprisingly soft, but grainy, tannin on the finish.

December 21, 2021 - Pronounced nose of raspberry, bramble, spiced red plum, kirsch. The palate is on the brighter side of CdP, long and juicy, not in a clumsy middle age but still a little uneven at the margins. Going to try and space out my remaining bottles 2024-30.
