May 4, 2021 - A bit ripe and plain. Needs time to open up.

May 24, 2020 - I was just slightly disappointed with this wine, but that's a product of really high expectations. Seems really young and full of energy, I was actually expecting a bit more fruit given the year. Minerals and stones really drives through yellow fruits towards the finish. I think a couple of years should do it good.

November 24, 2019 - Jean-Pierre Reniard Burgundy Wine Seminar (Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant): Tasted in Riedel Burg glass.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of limestone minerality, citrus lemon, deep ripe peaches. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of honeyed nuts, ripe citrus lemon, tangerines, sweet ripe peaches, stony minerality, smoky flint also. Long finish.
Very good quality. 100 year old vines from within the Vergers Premier cru. Showing lots of ripe fruit depth in this vintage. Remains to be seen how well this can age, though I have confidence this could improve and take on a point. Great stuff out of Chassagne.
