December 21, 2023 - Opened for an hour prior to drinking. Cola taste initially. Became much more full body. Brilliant with chicken caprese. Outstanding Californian Pinot that has aged well. Wish I had more of this vintage

August 13, 2022 - 2022: Top Ten Wines; 1/1/2022-12/31/2023 (Redwood City, CA): Pale garnet color. Note of strawberry, red currant, mustard seed, forest floor and white pepper. This is a really elegant wine which by this time has come together quite nicely and is showing off with lovely smooth texture, ripe plush tannins and a palate that features dried red fruit and truffle, with some cola in the lingering finish.

January 21, 2022 - Completely shocked by how good this wine turned out to be. I tasted the wine in the tasting room years ago and honestly did not care for it. I received the bottles as part of the club shipment and just now opened the first one.
Holy Cow! Dark red fruit, complex flavors from the terrior, extremely well balanced spicy oak. Incredible.2 people found this helpful Comment
