April 21, 2024 - Just wow. This was my first tasting of the 2015 vintage. Thankfully, I have two more bottles. I feel blessed that the wine gods have allowed me to source this wine since the 2013 vintage.

February 24, 2024 - Double decanted six hours prior to tasting with a friend the first night, then tasted it again the following night with fairly consistent results. Surprising how little fruit was coming forward. Notes of olive, eucalyptus, cedar, and saddle leather. Solidly good, but I expected more based on the comments I have read.

November 25, 2023 - Only 99 because we drank it a year or two young. If a 100 point Pauillac & a 100 point Napa had a super child, this would be it!! :)

November 11, 2023 - I drank this with friends while overnighting in the Catskills. I had a lamb shank to go with the wine. This was decanted in the morning, then slo-ox'd since my friend doesn't have a decanter. Ruby red and smooth and silky going down . Full bodied. Some tannins suggesting a long life. After an hour this was opening up. I'm attending a MACDONALD vertical this Friday of 2013 - 2019 M wines. Looking forward to this event and bringing a, wait for it, 2015 because nobody attending had one. This bottle will sit in a decanter all day, with no slo-ox. FYI, I left a short pour for my friend for him to drink the following night. He told me this really opened up.
