May 2, 2024 - A great vintage. It's at the earliest point that it should be drunk, this wine - a decade in. Very exciting indeed. Surprisingly dark and ruby-coloured. I would confuse it with a Southern Rhône in appearance. But on the nose the perfume is lofty and delicate - roses and pomegranates. Tannic and intense. Aggressive and demanding but starting to soften. Tremendous, terrific. The level of the wines today is so high it's hard to judge. But this is serious.

March 8, 2024 - At Cabotte with AW and FC. Youthful, bright colour. Aromatic - florals, ripe red fruit, grilled meat, touch of nail polish. Medium bodied, polished, fine tannins, lovely depth of pure, crystalline red fruits, very good length finish. Excellent/outstanding, drinking now though still young.

November 17, 2023 - Lovely core of spiced, pure black cherry together with rose petal, tar and a slate note. Heaps of energy and drive with great freshness. Delivers that beautiful balance between elegance and power. Lingering finish. Showing quite young with lots of structure and firm tannins. Will only get better with more time in the cellar.
WSET Notes:
Pale garnet.
Pronounced on the nose black cherry, cranberry, tar, clove rose petal, smoke, earth, leather and slate. Developing.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. Full body, high alcohol, high tannins, high acidity, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for ageing.1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 26, 2023 - Very fresh, elegant and charming. Bright acidity, balanced with lively, crunchy fruit. This is drinking just fine for my taste with a good decant. A very long and dry, almond tinged finish. My favorite of the single vineyard bunch from Massolino and a great alternative to the bigger wine for a fraction of the price. Drink or Hold
