February 24, 2024 - Blind Tasting of Syrah vs Cab: I was specifically looking for pyrazene and could not detect any. I remember this in Sonoma cabs and younger Stonestreets.
Good, well integrated tannins. Nice finish but shorter than the Darioush and the Jonata.
Flavors were there but more subtle than the Darioush - not as much cassis.
Really nice wine. -
