June 6, 2022 - This is the second wine of Sloan and I can’t really figure out what’s going on. There’s so much heat on this that it overpowers the red fruit and any nuance from aging. The tannins also don’t seem to have budged an inch.

October 27, 2020 - Complex and elegant. Excellent nose, structure, mouthfeel and finish. Took about 45 minutes to open then after being open about 4 hours seemed to decline. But in the middle there was really wonderful.

January 30, 2019 - Mid-Week Mostly Merlot Dominated Bordeaux Blends (just organically happened that way) (Casa Billiet): Tasted blind for Bordeaux blend tasting. Classic napa nose with sweet oak, cassis and some rich cherry. Classy wine in the mouth with notes on the nose carrying through on the palate with a touch of heat on the finish. Wine shows good energy. Enjoyed this wine, could use some more time in the bottle. 93-94
