February 2, 2018 - If you like Riesling, then this is a very good example. Pale straw/gold colour, with a nose of citrus, white flowers, mineral and bath salts. The palate is long, cool, minerally and precise, showing lemon/lime fruit, lots of minerality and acid.
It is not an expensive wine, and is seriously impressive in its price bracket. It has become a daily quaffer and I have drunk 3-4 dozen over the last year or two.
The 2016 is not quite as good, and shows a harder, coarser character, seemingly more developed (some kerosine aromas) and darker colour.
