December 21, 2010 - I was really surprised at how well this one was holding up. Still very youthful and bright. Aromatics were fantastic. Nice texture in the mid palate but not much length. Good stuff.

May 18, 2008 - Woha....this is a wine that needed time to settle. What was I thinking opening the other bottles I had all last year? The nose on this is SPECTACULAR!!! I mean...for a bottle I paid $15 for...this is a STEAL. On the nose scents of eucaliptis, mint, fresh tilled earth, wild black cherries, and wild strawberries...it's truly a value wine. In the mouth it's light with flavors of wild cherries, anise, licorice, and fresh cigar box. It's a steal...and if you have bottles of this in your cellar then lucky you! Enjoy this wine for what it is worth...an Oregon Value..that needed a little time to "flesh out". An excellent wine....

March 8, 2008 - Big nose bursting with ripe cherry aromas and a smooth finish. First tasted at in Cleveland at Michael Symons's Lola restaurant, where they serve it by the glass. Nice wine relative to the QPR.

February 15, 2008 - Offers a lot of fleshy fruit, cherry & intense blackberry flavors. Simple quaffer, easy drinking.

(Owen Roe Pinot Noir Sharecropper's) Dark pink color; earthy, spicy, soy sauce nose; tasty, juicy, some complexity with ripe red fruit, a hint of chalk and minerality; short-medium finish 90+ pts.
