August 21, 2013 - PnP, served non-blind. Excellent fill, cork soaked 1/4. Medium gold, still good reflections. Consistent with prior bottles, this is fully mature, with acids waning. But that's not to say that there's nothing to enjoy here, quite the opposite in fact. Full in the mouth, with enough acids to keep the finish clean, rewarding. Layers of mature orchard fruits, with engaging spice and fruit pie accents. I savored each glass, and look forward to my final bottle in the coming 12 months. On the drier side of off-dry, which was most welcome. 13,5% abv

January 19, 2013 - PnP consumed over two nights, with night #1 showing better; cork in exc cond, 1/4 soaked. Fully mature, medium gold color, opening with yellow apples, honey, earthen funk and schist. Medium(+) body, with waning acids, but still enough to get the job done. Avg(+) persistence and a classy mouthfeel. I'd have enjoyed this more a few years ago, which is to say that I will drink my remaining two bottles in the coming year or two. 13,5% abv

May 24, 2010 - Slightly dark golden. Aromas of white flowers, stone fruit, a little caramel. Still fresh and lively, medium-bodied, rich but nice structure. A delicious wine.

July 6, 2009 - Honey colored. Nose of sweet wildflowers -- nice. Popped & poured. Medium bodied with some sweetness, but tight and acidic on the first night; really not particularly enjoyable. Vacu-vined and finished 2 nights later, when the wine was excellent. Nice floral nose, balanced acidity/sweetness, notes of pear and apricot with a long finish. Drink or hold.

March 12, 2006 - Solid reisling. No petrol notes. Very floral in a restained sort of way. Light color of straw medium bodied with a light finish. Good food wine.
