Trop vieux? Déçu!

May 13, 2020 - Nose of citrus. Acidic, high minerality, but soft mouthfeel at the same time. Tasted light orange and lemon, but not as salty or bright as other muscadets I've had. Good with grilled fish and veggies.

N: closed nose, hard to detect much aroma, citrus.
P: M+ acid, M- body, M alcohol, M- intensity, M finish. Ripe melon, apples, citrus, spices, wet stones and mineral, leesy character of brioche and toast, finish has a slight herbaceous/olive bitterness.
Okay wine, some richness and texture.

September 6, 2019 - Pale straw with a few gold highlights. Upon first opening a strong Pinesol scent that blew off - the nose is cool, sweet, clean & a little nuance showing off apples, lemon peel, rock salt, pine sap. Medium body with a slick lip, medium acitiy but carries throughout a nice finish - peach skin, yellow apple, green apple peel, lemon merruinge pie.
Fresh, light olive oil tossed pasta with poached salmon, capers, summer squash, broccolini, goat cheese, garlic, onions & basil.

August 13, 2019 - A very slight funk on the nose that dissipates very quickly. Easy drinking wine that isn't complex but just works really nicely. A touch of green that's not overpowering, and a hint of minerality/salinity too.
