January 14, 2020 - Burgundy Villages 2011 and younger dinner (Traditional Teochew Steamboat, Joo Chiat Road, Singapore): Decent but not great. It had a rather decent nose - sweet dark cherries, earth, bramble, a bit of spice. The palate was soft. Cherries again, rather fruit-forward, but simple, even slightly watery past midpalate. Pleasant enough though, with a dried earth finish, little sprigs of bramble and a little bittersweet woody finish. Okay, but not one I would seek out in a hurry.

February 28, 2019 - Initially fairly fruit forward and then opened up to some spice and earthiness. Lacks concentration

October 15, 2018 - Solid Bourgogne. Similar to his whites, this possesses a high level, sharp acidity. A good sneak peak of what his style is.

July 21, 2018 - So... this is how it's supposed to taste.

Very pinot today with raspberries and strawberries. Still a clear saltiness but today in the background and enjoyable.
