September 18, 2020 - Let me start by saying that I love older wine. I love their nuanced unique flavors. Flavors unavailable anywhere else in the food world. Love em or hate em they are true and unique.

That said this is past its prime. Still I love it. Its acidty dominates over its tannins and fruit so expect sour grapes here. Aromas are great and intact. On the palette the flavors start with overripended strawberry and leads to similarly overripened raspberry. Finish is slightly tannic and yields delicious overripened fruit.

August 4, 2011 - Drinking beautifully now. Fruity and juicy. This was wonderful with the pizza we had which was medium spicy with garlic butter.

July 5, 2011 - Note after 2 hours. Very brambly on the nose with some black fruits. Some cola on the palate, finishing with hints of earth and dry herbs.
