It develops quite nicely into something with a complex nose of blueberries and strawberries. Medium weight and supple. An elegant wine. Almost old world. This, for me, is an excellent example of Otago pinot.

January 23, 2009 - Very enjoyable with pork loin and chicken wrapped in bacon. Dark in color, strong cherry characteristis on the nose and palate,with more earthiness and body emerging with open air time.
