May 29, 2022 - Emirates lounge in Singapore. Picked this over a red Bordeaux superior and the usual Moët NV but turns out equally uninspiring. A somewhat developed lemon yellow (would not suggest to follow the 2030-2050 drinking window here in CT…), some grapefruit, lacks weight and complexity on the mid palate. Switching to Perrier.

October 5, 2021 - Beau Bordeaux, frais , fringant ewt désaltérant.
Citron et pomme verte, sur un fond quelque peu herbacé.

    Beau RQP.

July 7, 2020 - Cream and lemon on the nose. Fresh, lively but with a bit of texture on the palate as well.

April 2, 2020 - At a young age, I do prefer their lavishly oaked Cuvée Caroline. As a young wine this would be appealing to lovers of Summer Wines: acidic, fresh fruity, non-complex. But much better 20 and 30 years from now, becoming mature hugs more than anything else.

    Plop:
Thin, acidic, appley and not doing it for me.

Day 2 w/out cork, in fridge:
Getting there, slight widening of the spectra but still mainly a skin-and-bones Bdx Blanc.

Day 4 w/out cork, in fridge:
As good as it gets for now. 20-30 years of rest will make this wine very good!

    Robe: pale pale white wine.
Nez: apples, citrus, minerals, nettles, green vegetables, very young, medium sized and not very complex.
Os: the smallest widening of ultra early hints of pre-maturity... Fnishes well (little short and acidic, much like like Kabosu citrus.) Agree with complaints of this being towards simplistic and I agree with notes pointing out that this will probably widen tremendously, as it moves towards yellow.

Not as impressed as I had hoped to be.

Without SARS-CoV-2, I'd be sipping from the first btl of my case of 2010 Cuvée Caroline instead. This is not nearly as satisfying as it was in my pre-imagination.

I guess I'll be a rather old bitter fart before this is mature enough for me to award it above 90 points. But, it'll get there :-)

July 17, 2019 - Lemon, minerals, spice, stone fruits and lime. Medium plus finish and good acidity. Excellent.
