December 23, 2023 - An easy afternoon with close friends. (By BV @ PdV): Beautiful bouquet which is still a bit locked, but shows beautiful fruits and vanilla. On the palate juicy dark berries, firm acidity and sticky tannin, full bodied and some white pepper. This 2016 has some more grip than the 2015 and needs some more time to reach its maturity stage and will probably last longer. Try around 2027. 92 – 93+

September 24, 2023 - 1hr decant. Enjoyed alongside a 2016 RdV Rendezvous and 2016 Sloan Asterisks. Nose is a bit muted. Black cherry, blueberry, and graphite. Medium+ body and finish. Tannins are well integrated. Very enjoyable and a good example of a wine from Margaux.
