December 4, 2011 - Still drinking very nicely, although near the peak IMO. Drink up.

February 10, 2009 - 14.9% alcohol. Pretty red color. Lovely bouquet of cherry, spice, and minerals. In the mouth, fatter and more voluptuous than, say, the 2003 or 2006 of this wine. Loads of fruit, with less spice character than in some vintages. Excellent acidity. Solid finish. A really nice wine, as it always is. B+/A-

September 12, 2007 - 13.9 alcohol that sticks out just a little on the nose. Very bright red cherry aromatics with a little raspberry reduction thrown in for good measure.. also a little dusty basement action going on. Soft soft texture. a hint of alcohol, similar to the nose. good length with very sweet-rich red fruit flavors. Not much tannin or structure. bad QPR when it comes to getting cheaper zins at same quality, but for some reason i really liked this wine at the vineyard, and enjoyed it again
