Community Tasting Notes 4

November 18, 2023 - Intense and ripe dark fruit. Some elegant spiciness and some subtle, well integrated oak notes. A well balanced and beautiful wine.

  • kosinski Likes this wine:

February 8, 2020 - Aroma: sweet herb blossoms and medicinal cherry.
Palate: rich and savory currant flavors with meaty notes. Moderate acidity and tannin. Good boy and complexity. Hold for the short to medium term.

June 24, 2017 - I am usually not so the Lagrein fan, but here … I made a very nice discovery!

The bouquet is very fruity and full of intense forest fruits, paired with lavender and violet. The whole is enveloped by forest floor and moss, as well as a very decent and perfect wood usage.

the palate is persistent and full of melting fruits with good density. Very high harmony and balance with an optimal acidity level and slightly astringent tannins in the back.

    Medium + in finish.

    Rating:

    Score: 91-92 / 100

    Conclusion:

I like it very much because you can also drink on a bit hotter days.
The wine does not have the great elegance or even the untamed power.

But this Lagrein tastes incredibly good and you just can’t keep of the glass, because it is so delicious and also easy to drink.
